A dedicated venous forum within the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery, bringing clinicians together for education, research and collaboration in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.

Venous disease affects people of all ages. Pain, swelling, skin changes and ulceration can limit mobility, disrupt work and reduce quality of life.
The Forum connects venous specialists from member countries across Asia through a shared council, working within the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery.
A shared commitment to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of venous disease across Asia.

AVF meetings are held with partner societies and the ASVS congress, most recently in Fukushima in 2026, with Hanoi in 2027 and Seoul in 2028 to follow.

AVF 2026 in Fukushima received over 130 abstracts and presented 113 lectures and presentations, including six international sessions with v-WIN Awards.

Joint programmes such as the AVF and Taiwan Society for Vascular Surgery session in Fukushima, alongside partner societies including ASVS, UIP and the Venous Association of India.

Covering varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis, post-thrombotic syndrome, venous ulcers and pelvic venous disorders.

President, Asian Venous Forum
Singapore
The Asian Venous Forum brings together vascular surgeons, phlebologists and other specialists from across Asia. Our aim is simple: to share knowledge, support research and raise the standard of care for people with venous and lymphatic disease in our region.
In July 2026 we met in Fukushima, Japan, together with the Japanese Society of Phlebology. We now look ahead to Seoul in 2028, and we warmly welcome new colleagues to the Forum.
